Shentel Unified Messaging
   
 
JavaScript is not enabled in your browser. You must enable JavaScript before you can use Shentel Unified Messaging.
For instructions on how to enable JavaScript, please select your browser from the following list of supported browsers and then read the instructions below:
To enable JavaScript with Internet Explorer 5.5 or 6
  1. Locate the 'zone name' which Internet Explorer has decided this page is in. The zone name is at the far right of the status bar, which is located at the bottom of your window.
  2. If the zone name is 'Restricted sites', then follow the instructions directly below for Removing Shentel Unified Messaging from the Restricted Sites List with Internet Explorer.
  3. Double click on the zone name to open the Security tab of Internet Security Properties.
  4. If the Default Level button is visible, click on it.
  5. Set the Security Level to Medium or lower.
  6. Click 'Apply', then 'OK'.
  7. If you wish to use Custom Levels, ensure 'Active scripting' is enabled.
  8. Return to the login page.
Removing Shentel Unified Messaging from the Restricted Sites List in Internet Explorer
  1. If Internet Explorer has decided that Shentel Unified Messaging is a 'Restricted site', then you must follow these steps before you can use Shentel Unified Messaging fully.
  2. Double click on the zone name (at the far right of the status bar, which is located at the bottom of your window), to open the Security tab of Internet Security Properties.
  3. Click on the the 'Sites' button.
  4. Locate the Internet address of the Shentel Unified Messaging service in the list displayed in the resulting pop-up window, and highlight the Shentel Unified Messaging entry by clicking on it once.
  5. Click on the 'Remove' button, and then on the 'OK' button.
  6. Click on the 'OK' button on the Internet Security Properties window.
  7. Return to the login page to try accessing Shentel Unified Messaging again.
To enable JavaScript with Mozilla Firefox
  1. Click Tools, then click on Options.
  2. Click on the Web Features tab and then check 'Enable JavaScript'.
  3. Return to the login page.
To enable JavaScript with Netscape Navigator 7 or later
  1. Click Edit, then click on Preferences.
  2. Expand the Advanced category.
  3. Click the Scripts & Plugins sub-category.
  4. Under Enable JavaScript for, check Navigator.
  5. Return to the login page.
